Built From Experience. Focused on Clarity.

Before I ever worked in financial services, I spent more than a decade as a police officer in Dallas, Texas.

I understand the job, the schedule, the stress, the family dynamics, and the unique financial decisions that come with a career in public safety. I also understand that most first responders did not get into this profession because they wanted to become experts in investments, taxes, Social Security, estate planning, or retirement income.

That is where I come in.

I entered the financial services industry in 2019 and have spent years studying retirement income planning, investments, insurance, tax strategies, and the decisions families face as they prepare for retirement. My education includes the Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation, Certified Annuity Specialist designation, and Series 65 securities license. I have also worked closely with financial advisors across the country on retirement strategies, case design, and solving complex client situations.

I created Guardian Financial Strategies because I believe financial advice can be done better.

Clients should not leave a financial meeting more confused than when they walked in.

You should understand what you own, why you own it, where your retirement income will come from, how taxes may affect you, whether your family is protected, and what needs to happen next.

That requires looking beyond investments.

My process starts with your retirement income strategy and works outward from there. We address estate planning, tax mitigation, investments, Social Security, insurance, cash flow, and the other decisions that affect your financial life. Each piece is considered in relation to the others.

No important issue should be ignored simply because it falls outside someone’s traditional definition of financial advice.

My job is to ask the questions, work through the details, explain your options in plain language, and help you build a strategy you actually understand.

For first responders and their families, there is also something valuable about working with someone who understands where you come from.

I’ve worn the uniform.

Now my job is to help you gain clarity about what you have built and make sure it is working toward the life you want.

Clear advice. Clear strategy. Clear understanding of what comes next.
